Explore the warranty carefully.  Like many battery sellers now, I think Walmart
has a XX month free replacement followed by NOTHING.  NO prorated replacement.

Few months ago.  I was talking with a lady behind the Walmart auto counter
about them.  She said she wouldn't buy one.  Not much of a recommendation when
your own employees won't buy them.

I tried Interstate batteries in the boat once.  They may be great for NASCAR
but only lasted 18 months in the boat.

I went back to Delco Voyagers.  Never had a problem.  I typically replace the
Voyagers at 5 years.  They're still going strong but I replace them anyway.

In my cars I use Autocraft batteries from Advance Auto.  They have a prorated
warranty after the free replacement period.  They make marine batteries but
I've never tried them.
