Jonathan;
You need to post the dimensions of the boat so we have an idea of what sizes are appropriate. Pyacht lists the following dimensions for I,J,P,E,PY, and EY, but the boat is question might be different: HINCKLEY 40 BERMUDA 40-1 42.50 15.66 36.58 17.17 17.25 8.58 HINCKLEY 40 BERMUDA 40-2 44.45 15.58 38.50 16.08 20.25 8.50 HINCKLEY 40 BERMUDA 40-3 49.00 17.40 42.40 12.00 22.58 8.20 I have an older #3/#4 (it has a reef in it) that might do as a working jib if the boat is a 40-3. They are handicapped in more ways than one, but I am hoping I can enlist the help of this incredible list to see if we an locate a new set of sails for them - this should not be difficult - their current set is 45 years old. They do not have the funds to buy used from Bacon or similar, so we are hoping to find some folks who are willing to donate their old sails to a good cause! Any leads gratefully received Jonathan Indigo - 35MkIII - Southport CT
