you only need to get weather right...from van island not long trip but this time of year can get fog very quickly....although river current from fraser river is low as to false creek dont worry current is not much & you can work along side of current best time of year is june...any reason to move now? storage always more reasonable vancvr island ...fog ferries &shipping not a safe alternative...but have crossed in september..............
