When I purchased the C&C 34, it was named Witch Doctor II. The prior owner was
a PhD in psychology and I guess it was a good play on words on his occupation.
Name change was necessary as not to be confused with Witch Doctor, a Beneteau a
few slips down. Briar Patch became just another PC incorrect name.

In the 1970's, a friend was cruising the docks somewhere in the Bahamas. A gold
plated sport fisherman from Houston was in the marina. It was at the height of
the oil boom back then. The transom sported the name "P.S." The deck hand was
asked what it stood for. "Poverty Sucks".
