I drilled out the buildup in the small right-angle fitting going into the
elbow, which gave me another year. I was surprised it took a drill to clean
it, but it wasn't going anywhere with a gentle touch. I replaced the mixing
elbow the next year. Now I just figure it's something that needs replacing
every 1000 hours and put it on the schedule.
