I'm having my boats bottom soda blasted and then I'm going to be applying a barrier coating. The yard recommended 7 coats of Interlux Interprotect 2000E barrier coat which frankly seems a bit much. According to them, Interlux (who recommends 4-5 coats 10 mil minimum) won't honor their warrantee if you use less. Never short for opinions I'm hoping you folks can provide me some recommendations for barrier coatings.
