There is the typical keel/hull crack at the joint. That's a separate matter I 
suppose. I hadn't figured out the best practice way of dealing with that yet. 
First torque the bolts to spec, open a V groove and fill with 4200, before the 
VC17?

The area I was referring to is above that, at the horizontal to vertical 
transition at the underbody as you mentioned.
