Like most of us, I think about taking my boat offshore one day. One of my 4AM quandaries is what to do about my seat locker. It has a huge hatch and nothing in the way of gaskets to keep water out. If a wave filled the cockpit, as has happened to me on many occasions in nasty weather, there is not much to keep water from pouring into the boat. I have some ideas, but I'd be curious to know how others have addressed this problem. David Risch?
