On my Viking i ran all new hose to the vents on the transom. I used the blower to pull air out of the back of the engine compartment and attached the other end of the hose to one vent and faced its scoop aft. The other scoop I faced forward and ran the hos attached to it to the front of the engine compartment. I figured that way I'd get the benefit of moving forward to continually add fresh air to the engine compartment. It is just my own logic that came to that setup but, I never did blow up! Danny

Buy a blower *designed for ventilating gas fumes* with the correct diameter and some hose. You want the end of hose near the engine as low down as you can get. Joe Coquina
