Chesapeake area mold, mildew and condensation must be setting a record this
year.

Right this second at my house it is 60 degrees and humid. Tonight it will be 29
degrees. This cycle is causing HUGE amounts of condensation in places I have
never had it before.

We’ll see how my heater and calcium chloride do tonight.

Josh –

I’ve used lemon oil and have not had any mildew issues. However, we do try to
ventilate the boat well.

Subject: Stus-List Lemon oil cause mildew?

Ok, so under the advise of this list I used lemon oil at the beginning of the
2015 season. I chalked up the mildew this last fall to the unusually high
humidity and excessive rain. That was until this evening when someone told me
that they had heard that the lemon oil gave the mildew something to eat.

Before I re-oil with lemon oil, anybody have any thoughts on this mildew theory?

Thanks,
