Josh, you are spot-on that it is the connector between the elbow and manifold
that is broken.  When I zoom in on my hi-def photo, I can even see where it
looks like someone tried glue when it had cracked in some prior life.  We can't
get to the boat until after closing, but I'm hoping I can get the old pieces
out and then find the right one.

Of course, then I'll need to move the strainer to take the stress off the
fitting.

Thanks for the idea of using a hose splitter/manifold!

I love this list! Bruce Whitmore

I believe that the elbow is fine.  I think the part that is actually broken is
an adapter that changes from the garden hose fitting on the manifold to the MIP
threads on the QEST elbow.  The broken piece may also be the swivel on the
manifold.
C&C used these garden hose manifolds (4 way splitter) to split out the 3 supply
tanks.  If what is broken is actually the manifold then it should be easy to
find a new one at a hardware store or Amazon.  This gardenia manifold is no
longer available.  I've looked.  But the link below is one source.

Hello everyone,

Well, it's almost official - We're closing on a C&C 37/40+ next week!
Agreements signed, funds transferred, etc.  Now it's just about the paperwork.
So now the fun begins - repairs!

There is a broken elbow fitting at the water tank manifold - it appears to be
polybutylene, but I can't tell for sure just based on the attached photo.  At
any rate, this comes out of the manifold and goes to a strainer.  We can't
fill, test or use the water system until this is fixed.  Does anyone here have
an idea where I might find the elbow fitting (or something else that would
work)?
Thanks in advance!
