I really like the Davis Instruments, we have one of those at our club, it is
invaluable. \ http://www.erieyachtclub.org/weatherlink/

However, I usually access it through Weather underground.

Another thought on this is to go down and dirty - I put a cheap Accu-Rite
weather station in at the shop, they were only 80 Bucks at Costco last fall.
It is a good introduction, and very simple to set up and get online.

I am glad I went the cheap route, because in December a windstorm snapped my
pole off, the top section was around 4 feet of 3/4 PVC Pipe, which started
to whipsaw when it got over 30 Kts, and I found it in pieces in the parking
lot. No problem, I thought, Costco had cut the price 20 bucks down to 60,
but when I got there, there was only one left, and it was back to 80 bucks.

Wow!

Thank you for wise thoughts!

All this coming together is valued. The nearest member is 1/2 hour away and
some of us are a 7 hour drive away.
