The R does not have an aft stateroom. Just a big open bunk to store your sails and the nav station. I suspect the fuel is under it as it is a good location. Water is probably under one of the settees or possibly in the bow under the forward end of the v berth if Ball thought it would be better balance to keep it there.

Also, according to sailboatdata, instead of the 75g water and 40G fuel, it carries only 30g of water and 20 of fuel.
