Thanks, I like having the strobe as a way of differentiating my boat. It's for emergency use only. I like having it in case I'm not being seen by another vessel, I can flip it on until they get a bearing on me and then turn it off. Or if I call for assistance, it can visually mark my boat as the one needing help.
