Frivolous? Silly boater. Cup holders are one of the most serious
accessories on a boat!

Seriously, Touche' has one of these on the pedestal guard:

However, I use it for my air horn.

We also have two white plastic flip down cup holders mounted on the cockpit
bulkhead at the steering station. The white ones are not that noticeable.

I just replaced a pair of them. Previously we had a pair like this:

https://www.amazon.com/American-Technology-CH00100-BLK-1-Collapsible-Adjustable/dp/B000Q887MY/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=folding%2Bmarine%2Bcup%2Bholders&qid=1569848661&s=automotive&sr=1-6&th=1

Over time, the arms that hold the upper part of the drink became loose.
They would open up and allow the drink to fall out.

Now we're trying some like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Adjustable-Cupholders-Vehicles-44040/dp/B073CXJXJQ/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=folding+marine+cup+holders&qid=1569848881&s=automotive&sr=1-2

The arms slide rather than pivot. Hoping they last a bit longer.
