Grind the nut off inside the boat?  I've got a Foredom brand tool with a flex shaft that you can borrow if you need it, blows the dremel away - but a dremel would work also.

I want to remove a stanchion but the SS screw in the toe rail into the stanchion is seized .....I have applied PB Blaster, 50% ATF - 50% Acetone....tied putting a Philips head driver and hammering it to break the bond, no luck.

Scared to try torch heat because of the proximity to the hull and do not have an impact driver but may get one.

Anyone have any experience with this?
