6.8kn at 2200 is wild! We've never gotten that speed even with a freshly painted bottom. I spoke with a marine transmission tech and he said he doubts the transmission is slipping unless the fluid was black. Also on a side note he said they are very difficult if not impossible to get parts for so baby yours! Fred at PYI suggested to the pitch at 18º and see how it goes so that's what we'll do when we haul out and put a new bottom on. He said 14º would be way too low. thanks all.
