It could have been Awl Grip VIVID RED. I painted by topsides 25 years ago in this color and the fading just started to get bad on the starboard side otherwise a little dull. I am repainting at present and just finished the 545 Gray Primer
Greg Alimenti Cara Mia C&C 29 MkI St. Joseph, MI From: Karl Kuzis via CnC-List <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2026 11:47 PM To: Stus-List <[email protected]> Cc: Karl Kuzis <[email protected]> Subject: [EXTERNAL] Stus-List Insights on matching AWLGRIP color Hello all, Doris and I own FIREFLY a C&C 29 Mk1 which had previously been in Portland Oregon. She's up on lake Pend Oreille now a days. She was painted with a red AWLGRIP in 1998 (I believe her owner at that time was Mr. Gary Scott). Over the years some wear spots have developed and she could use some touch ups so we are attempting to figure out the color code for the red that was used so we can match. If anyone from the list has suggestions or if any of the Portland crew knows or has a line to Mr. Scott so I could ask, please reach out via email at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> or via text/cell/signal at 360-606-2099 Thanks all. Respectfully, Karl Karl & Doris Kuzis S/V Firefly C&C 29 Mk1 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> (360) 606-2099
