COBirders, I have not sent out a reminder in quite a while and thought it would be a good time to do so.
First, here is the URL to the guidelines for posting to COBirds: http://cfo-link.org/birding/COBirds_rules.php The few things I want to stress upon. 1. You MUST sign your post(s). See my signature below for an example. I am going to start cracking down on this a little more than I have in the past. If I see that you have not signed I will put you on moderation until you correct it. 2. In the subject line please include the county where the bird was found and the name of the bird. I realize there are plenty of times this is not appropriate for a post but in general when reporting a rarity please follow this format. 3. Do not send attachments to the group. You will be put on moderation at the moderators discretion if you do so. Thank you for all of your posts and I hope everyone has a great 2009 birding year. Keep the reports coming in to COBirds and please submit documentation for all of those write-up species you see to the Records Committee.
