On a BCNA raptor survey today, we found a dark-morph Ferruginous Hawk on
63rd St, S of Nelson Rd. When we stopped for a look with the scope, we
noticed that there was a red-tail in a tree on the other side of the road,
maybe 1/4 mile away. We got a good look at the FEHA, but the RTHA came and
chased it off just as I was getting set for a picture. It flew almost
directly over us as it left.

There was just one Great-horned Owl in the tree where we have seen two on
the past couple of surveys.

Other findings:
South Rabbit:
5 - Red-tailed Hawks
3 - American Kestrel
1 Bald Eagle

Boulder Reservoir:
4 - Red-tailed Hawks
6 - American Kestrel

Lykins Gulch: nil
