There was an adult Little Blue Heron at Thurston Reservoir, north of Lamar in
Prowers County, in southeastern Colorado today (4/23). The bird was seen from
the south side boat ramp, as it flew from west to east. There are a lot of
places for the bird to hide, so I don't know how easy this bird will be to
re-find.
Black Rails have returned to the Bent County marshes as well.
