Delta County:
--White-winged Crossbills were reported by Drummond at the Visitor Center at
Grand Mesa on May 19.

Douglas County:
--A Least Tern was reported by Walbek on the tip of the sandspit at
Chatfield SP on May 21.  At 1745 on May 21, Stachowiak reported the Least
Tern and a Laughing Gull at the sandspit.
--A Piping Plover was found by Differding at the sandspit at Chatfield on
May 22.

El Paso/Pueblo Counties:
--At Chico Basin Ranch (fee):
----On May 19, Brown reported that a m Indigo Bunting was still around the
Banding Station.
----On May 20, Gibbons reported a Whimbrel at headquarters pond.
----On May 21, Brown reported that a Northern Waterthrush was banded, a f
Rose-breasted Grosbeak was seen around the banding station and a f Blackpoll
Warbler was see at Rose Pond.
----On May 21, Gibbons reported a female plumaged Purple Martin at
headquarters.

Fremont County:
--A basic plumaged RED-THROATED LOON was reported by Rich Miller at Brush
Hollow Reservoir on May 19.

Jefferson County:
--A f Northern Parula was reported by Plage at Welchester Tree Park in
Lakewood on May 21.
--A singing Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Plage at Welchester Tree
Park on May 22.

Logan County:
--A f PAINTED BUNTING was reported by Kaempfer at Prewitt on the east side
along the dam on May 20.

Mesa County:
--A possible GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL was reported by Steger at Highline Lake
State Park on May 20.

Washington County:
--1 Northern Waterthrush and 2 f Indigo Buntings were reported by Tina Jones
at Last Chance on May 19.

Weld County:
--A Caspian Tern was reported by Kaempfer at St. Vrain State Park on May 18.
--A NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Kaempfer on a sand spit on the east
side of Lower Latham on May 19.  The cormorant can be seen from CR 47.
--At Crow Valley on May 20, Dick reported a White-eyed Vireo, m
Black-throated Blue Warbler, and m Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
--At Crow Valley on May 22, Chavez reported White-eyed Vireo, Ovenbird, 
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and Indigo Bunting.

The field trip for Saturday, May 23 to Monday, May 25 will be to Nebraska's
Crescent Lake Refuge led by Chris Owens (303-772-6048).  Meet the leader at
0800 Saturday at Jim Hamm Park.  Call leader for motel suggestions and
carpooling arrange.  Will need to bring 3 lunches and 2 breakfasts and plan
to eat 2 dinners at restaurants.

The field trip for Saturday, May 23 will be to Audubon Center led by Doris
Cruze (303-798-8072).  Meet the leader at 0800 at the Audubon Center.  Take
C470 to Wadsworth.  Take Wadsworth south for 4.4 miles and turn onto
Waterton Road.  It will be the first left.  This will be a half day trip so
bring water and snacks, lunch optional.  Wheelchair accessible trail.  Will
end by noon.

The field trip for Sunday, May 24 will be to Rigli Ranch led by Joe Rigli
(970-768-7121).  Meet the leader at ranch by 0830.  From Hudson, go east on
CO 52 until it turns north.  Don't turn, but continue east on Morgan CR F to
CR 14.  Turn north for approximately one mile to first house on left by
boxcars.  Bring lunch and extra water.

The Field trip for Monday, May 25 will be to 88th and South Plate Trail led
by Jackie King (303-287-1644).  Meet the leader at 0730 at the parking area
at E. 88th and South Platte River.  From I-76, take E 88th Ave exit, go
west on 88th for 1.6 miles then turn south at Colorado Blvd.  Turn left into
parking lot for Greenway Trailhead.  Bring lunch and drinking water.
