Hi,
I went east to Last Chance[hwy 71 & hwy 36], this afternoon. I watched at the
little swamp below. Nothing but 5 Common Grackles, AND one really nice f. Rusty
Blackbird. This was it but the Rusty was so nice and cooperative. It came
within about 15 feet of me. It continued to turn Cottonwood and Elm leaves
over, looking for some tidbit to eat. I watched the female Rusty for about 30
minutes but as far as I could tell she never ate anything. The area otherwise
was quiet.

Happy Birding!
