Boulder County: 
--A 1st-cycle GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL and a Thayer's Gull were reported by 
Floyd at Thomas Reservoir on December 26.  Szelgia reported a Glaucous and imm 
Lesser Black-backed Gull at Thomas Reservoir on December 26.  Thomas Reservoir 
is on 119th in Erie.  On December 29, Sanders reported an juv GREAT 
BLACK-BACKED GULL at Thomas Reservoir.
--An adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Sanders at Erie Reservoir 
on December 29.
--At the Valmont Complex on December 25, Floyd reported:  2 MEW GULLS (1 ad, 1 
1st-cycle), 4 Thayer's Gulls (3 1-st cycle), 8 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (4 ad, 
4 1st-cyc), 1 GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL (1st-cyc), 1 ad Glaucous Gull, 1 1st-cyc 
GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL and a Chihuahuan Raven.
--Gray-crowned Rosy-finches with a few Hepburns were reported by Waltman at 
Fawn Brook Inn in Allenspark on December 27.  On December 29, Birchmeier and 
Sanders reported Gray-crowned Rosy-finches and Black Rosy-Finches at Fawnbrook 
Inn.
--A male Mandarin Duck was seen on the Boulder CBC by Plage on December 20 and 
was seen again by Plage on December 27 near the Boulder Airport.  Take Airport 
Blvd to the east end and scope ponds from south of the office bldg at 5660 
Airport Blvd.
 
Delta County:
--A Red Fox Sparrow was reported by Garrison at the Paonia Ranger State Office 
on December 9.  The address is 403 North Rio Grande (across the creek from 
Apple Valley Park).   Both the Red and Slate-colored Fox Sparrow were seen by 
Boswell on December 23.

Denver County: 
--A pair of Barrow’s Goldeneye was reported by Henwood along the S.   
Platte River just north of the bridge on W. Evans Ave on December 14.
On December 28, Driscoll reported the  2 male Barrrow's Goldeneyes north of 
Florida.

Douglas County:
--A f American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Walbek above Sedalia on 
December 18.  Go west on Hwy 67 from Sedalia to .2 miles east of Rampart Range 
Road.  Stachowiak found 2 American Three-toed Woodpeckers in the same location 
on December 19.  Huffstater reported three female type American Three-toed 
Woodpecker at the area on December 27.
 
El Paso County:
--A possible immature SNOWY OWL was reported by Cipoletti on Hwy 24 east of 
Elbert Road on December 27.  This is between Falcon and Peyton.
--Lapland Longspurs were reported by Ceci Lee in the SW corner of Elbert Road 
and Latigo Blvd on December 28.
  
Huerfano County:
--Beverly Jensen reported that all 3 species of Rosy-finches are visiting her 
feeders in La Veta as recently as December 24.  You are welcome to view her

Jefferson County:
--A juv GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW was reported by Brown behind the Trading Post at 
Red Rocks on December 19 and was seen by several birders.  The sparrow
was seen on December 29 by Dunning.  Chavez and Kibbe suggest bringing some 
bird seed and scattering it to attrack the birds.
  
Larimer County:
--A pair of White-winged Crossbills was reported by Leatherman in Grandview 
Cemetery in Fort Collins on November 22.  The pair was seen on December 28 by 
Steve Miller in the west end of section E.

Mesa County:
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Korte in the 2400 block of Mesa Ave in 
Grand Junction on December 25.
  
Rio Grande County:
--An American Bittern was reported by Nehring at the Rio Grande SWA on December 
26.  The SWA is north of the canal at Home Lake.
 
Summit County:
--About 85 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Nims at the Blue River 
(Silverthorne) Water Treatment Plant on December 28.
