Just wanted to share some birds found over the weekend. Several lifers found including:
American Tree Sparrow - Weld CR-48 south of Lower Latham Reservoir Barrow's Goldeneye (female) - On Poudre river near parking area on Larimer CR-21 just south of Laporte Common Merganser (3 males) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield) Great Black-Backed Gull (first winter, I think) - Erie Reservoir Thayers Gull (various stages) - Erie Reservoir Brown Creeper - Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins did not find the Crossbills this time) And a few of non-lifers: Hooded Merganser (5 females) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield) Canvasback (male) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield) Greater White-Fronted Goose - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield) My photos are out on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rudi_noodle/ Please feel free to correct any mis-identifications.
