Just wanted to share some birds found over the weekend. Several
lifers found including:

American Tree Sparrow - Weld CR-48 south of Lower Latham Reservoir
Barrow's Goldeneye (female) - On Poudre river near parking area on
Larimer CR-21 just south of Laporte
Common Merganser (3 males) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf
Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield)
Great Black-Backed Gull (first winter, I think) - Erie Reservoir
Thayers Gull (various stages) - Erie Reservoir
Brown Creeper - Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins

did not find the Crossbills this time)

And a few of non-lifers:
Hooded Merganser (5 females) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf
Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield)
Canvasback (male) - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf Courser (along
Lowell in Broomfield)
Greater White-Fronted Goose - Pond on 6th hole of Broadlands Golf
Courser (along Lowell in Broomfield)

My photos are out on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rudi_noodle/

Please feel free to correct any mis-identifications. The gull pictures
aren't the best as a snow squall was moving in yesterday afternoon
when I was at the reservoir.

Happy new year and good birding wishes to all!
