Arapahoe County:
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Roller at Cherry Creek SP on the pond across 
from the airplane field on April 25.
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Stecher in Centennial near Orchard and 
Colorado Blvd on April 27.
 
Bent County:
--A molting male Summer Tanager was reported by Duane Nelson in Toonerville on 
April 25.
--At Tempel Grove on April 27, Percival reported 2 Harris's Sparrows, 1 
White-throated Sparrow, and 1 Eastern Phoebe.
--A male Northern Parula was reported by Percival at Hasty Campground on April 
27.
  
Delta County:
--A Snowy Plover was reported by Beason at Fruitgrower's Reservoir on April 24.
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Kaempfer at Fruitgrowers Reservoir on April 24. 
 The GLOSSY IBIS was seen again by Garrison on April 27.
 
Eagle County:
--40+ Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Filby at Spring Park Reservoir on 
April 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, and 28.  The reservoir has NO public access and is 
viewable distantly from the road with a scope.
 
El Paso County:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Pals at Fountain Creek Regional Park on 
April 24.
--A male Hooded Warbler was reported by Brown and banded by RMBO at Chico Basin 
Ranch (fee) on April 10 and was seen again on April 21 and 22 and by Riffe on 
April 25.
--A male Northern Parula was reported by Gobris at the banding station on April 
23 and 24 and by Brown on April 26.  On April 27, 2 male Northern Parulas were 
reported by Brown in the grove near the banding station.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Burns at Sondermann Park on April 24.  
The bird was in the tall cottonwoods to the west of the beaver dam area.
  
Kit Carson County:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Wood in Burlington on April 23.
 
Kiowa County:
--A YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was reported by Truan at an abandoned farm at the 
intersection for CR 33 & L south of Eads on April 28.
 
Lake County:
--A Trumpeter Swan was reported by Kaempfer on the west lake of Twin Lakes on 
April 25.
 
LaPlata County:
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Allerton at Pastorius Reservoir near Durango on 
April 24 and was seen again on April 27 by Allerton.
 
Larimer County:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Coley by the diversion dam in Loveland on 
April 28.
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Wild at Ryan's Gulch Reservoir on April 28.
  
Mesa County:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Walker along the Colorado
River in Fuita on April 25.  It was on the south side of the river directly 
across from James Robb Colorado River State Park.
 
Montrose County:
--2 Black Phoebes were reported by Dexter in Nucla on April 22 and 23.
 
Ouray County:
--A Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch was reported by Nelson at his feeders in Ouray on 
April 23.  Kent Nelson reported a Black Rosy-Finch at his feeder in Ouray on 
April 25.
 
Prowers County:
--Harris's Sparrows have been present at the Paulsen's Yard in Lamar (2 on 
April 20 and 21; 4 on April 23).  Percival reported 2 Harris's Sparrow there on 
April 27.
--A Harris's Sparrow was reported by Leatherman at Higbee SWA on April 22.
--At Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar:
----Percival and Leatherman reported 1 male Black-and-white Warbler and 1 
eastern male Nashville Warbler on April 27.
----Leatherman reported 1 Cassin's Vireo and 1 molting male Summer Tanager on 
April 27.
----Leatherman report a male western Nashville Warbler on April 28.
--At Lamar Community College Woods: 
----Percival and Leatherman reported Carolina Wren, Northern Cardinals, 
Red-bellied Woodpecker, and 2 Harris's Sparrows on April 27.
--At Willow Valley Subdivision in Lamar, Percival reported 2 White-winged Doves 
on April 27.
--At Thurston Reservoir Leatherman reported 1 GLOSSY IBIS, and 1 White-eyed 
Vireo on April 28.
 
Pueblo County:
--A Yellow-throated Vireo was reported by Silverman below the dam at Lake 
Beckwith in Colorado City on April 24 and was seen again on April 27 by 
Silverman in the same area.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Silverman on April 25 near Frog Pond in 
Colorado City.
--A female Northern Parula was reported by Percival at Greenhorn Meadows Park 
in Colorado City on April 24.
--A pair of Eastern Phoebes was reported by Silverman at the west end of 
Scroggs Canyon on the north side of Lago Vista Blvd in Colorado City on April 
24.
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Percival at the North Picnic Road loop at 
Pueblo Reservoir on April 23.
--A male Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by Percival at Pueblo City 
Park on April 22.  The bird was in the west side of the park, above the creek 
in the Frisbee Golf Course area.
--A Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by Percival just west of the 
Pueblo Nature Center in tall cottonwood on April 24.
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Percival at Pueblo Reservoir on April 22.
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Cameron at Chico Basin Ranch
HQ Pond (fee) on April 25.
--A Caspian Tern was reported by Percival at Pueblo Reservoir on April 26.
--A female Nashville Warbler was reported by Percival in Rock Canyon below the 
dam at Pueblo Reservoir on April 26.
--At Pueblo City Park, Percival found a light morph Broad-winged Hawk and a 
White-winged Dove on April 26.
--On the north side of the Arkansas River west of Pueblo Blvd, Percival 
reported a female Black-and-white Warbler and a Black Phoebe on April 26.
--On the north side of the Arkansas River east of Pueblo Blvd, Percival 
reported a Black Phoebe on April 26.
 
Weld County:
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Prather at Union Reservoir on April 23 and was 
seen along the north shore by Nunes on April 24 and on April 25 by Riffe.
  
The DFO field trip for Saturday, May 1 will be to Roxborough State Park led by 
Alison Kondler (303-904-9140).  Meet the leader at the Visitor Center at 8am.  
Trip will go to noon.  Must call 303-973-3959 to make a reservation.  Space is 
limited.  No fee but CO park Pass required.
 
The DFO field trip for Sunday, May 2 will be to Dawson Butte and Columbine Open 
Space, Douglas County led by Doris Cruze (303-798-8072).  Meet the leader at 
0730 at the McDonald's near Castle Rock.  From I-25 south, exit at Wilcox St. 
and turn Right.  Go four blocks west to the McDonald's.  Trip will finish about 
2 pm so bring lunch, water and dress for weather.
