COBirders,

I just received a phone call from Bob Gooycolea who was at Fountain Creek
Nature Center between 6:45 and 7:15 P.M. He told me the hawk was perched
in a tree directly above the feeders at the nature center during those
times. I agree with Brandon that this bird might be chaseable tomorrow
A.M. and those arriving early might have an excellent chance to see it.
One non-birder photographer flushed the bird twice in the late afternoon
by trying to get too close to the hawk in spite of my plea to him to give
the bird some distance. The area is a high use area with multiple
recreational users so my advice would be to arrive early if you hope to
see it.
