I finally heard a few Chimney Swifts in Florence today. This week I found
that a pair of phoebes, at least one a probably Black-Eastern hybrid, have 4
nestlings. Bobolink have returned to the Canon City area after being absent
last year though I have only seen 1 male so far. And I have found a pair of
Ferruginous Hawks and they have nested for what may be the first documented
time in Fremont County. I uploaded two photos of a Ferruginous Hawk onto
my BirdsAndNature <http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com> and I am working on
more photos and video.
