A month or two ago, when one was reported, we learned never to take a
1-yr old birding in a swamp. After Deb took her back to the car, I
slogged through the muck for over an hour, and failed to find the
bird.

Today, chasing the previously reported Yellow-billed Cuckoo, I
stumbled upon a Yellow-throated Vireo on my way out. From the Audubon
Discovery center trailhead, walk to the bird-banding station, contiune
East to the river, turn North on the trail, and it was 20-50 yards
North, in a tree just on the West side of the trail.

Also today-- Violet-green Swallows, between the middle school and the
condo complex on Remington Ave, between Kipling and Garrison
(Littleton).

Also Tree Swallow mating at the Chatfield parking lot, and a male
Cedar Waxwing feeding a female, just north of the Vireo.
