Yesterday there were about 500 cranes in southwest portion of MV Refuge (near corner of Colorado 15 and RG County Rd. 8S), some being far back to the west, others closer to parking. Other species as expected along CO 15. One Northern Harrier on County Rd. 8S, already yet. Farther east in Alamosa County there was one Prairie Falcon. Virginia Simmons
