I searched in the area where Peter Gent found a Black-throated Gray Warbler
this morning and was able to rediscover the bird. It was between the bike path
and Boulder Creek about where there are two large cottonwoods on the south side
of the trail just northeast of Potts Field (aka the track). The
Black-throated was in a small flock with a couple of Western Tanagers, a
Plumbeous Vireo, a Hammond's Flycatcher and an Orange-crowned Warbler. As I
walked down the Skunk Creek path I happened upon two birds I've never seen on
the CU campuses before-a pair of Great-tailed Grackles and a Brown Thrasher.
