I met Joe Roller this morning at Chatfield. The 2 juvenile Sabine's Gulls are still there. Look west from the handicapped fisherman's platform or from the heron overlook. At Cherry Creek SP there was a juvenile Sabine's Gull, a 2nd cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull and 3 Black Terns. 6 Red-necked Phalaropes linger after as many as 24 last week. The number of gulls has increased dramatically since Sunday. I found a couple of Townsend's Warblers but for the most part, migrant landbirds were few.
