Mid to late afternoon today, we birded Last Chance. We saw:

Numerous American Robins
One Townsend's Solitair
One Gray Catbird (heard)

One Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

A pair of Blue Jays

Numerous Yellow-rumped Warblers
A few Wilson's Warblers
One Nashville Warbler
One possible female Common Yellowthroat (a quick glimpse only)

One Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Chipping Sparrows
White-crowned Sparrows
One White-throated Sparrow

House Finches
House Sparrows

Early this morning, we saw a Broad-winged Hawk about 4-5 miles south of Last
Chance.
Then, we had an even better view of one at the entrance to Prewitt Reservoir.
After not seeing this bird for several years, we saw two today!

Prewitt was slow except for Yellow-rumps, Pelicans, Gulls, Great Blue Herons.

Good birding,
