A nice if warm day at Barr Lake - banded 40 birds, including our first of
season Flicker and our second of season(!) Philadelphia Vireo.  Here's the
breakdown (also recaptured 14 birds from recent days):

Philadelphia Vireo         1

Orange-crowned Warbler         1

Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's)   1

Spotted Towhee           1

Chipping Sparrow        25

Clay-colored Sparrow  1

Song Sparrow  1

Lincoln's Sparrow        3

White-crowned Sparrow (Gambel's)    4

 

Open through Thursday, then closed Friday, then open through the weekend.
Next week's closed date TBA.  Final day of banding will be Oct 16.
