Joe Roller, Sol Miller, and I just had a jaeger at Ish Reservoir (Larimer /
Boulder). It was very suggestive of Pomarine, but after watching it for about
20 minutes the bird flew directly south. It might be good to check Union or
lakes in Boulder or Denver. I would call the bird a light juvenile according to
Sibley. There was quite a few gulls on the lake including a few darker
juveniles. We were not able to find any of the previously reported scoters.
