Two American Dippers in Clear Creek, Adams Co., this afternoon. I found the first west of Federal Blv'd on the advice of two other birders I saw it about mid-way between Federal and the railroad bridges at 4:15 pm. On the return to my car at 55th Pl and Lowell, I found another Dipper below the check dam, just east of Lowell Blv'd at 4:48 pm. This has been a good spot for Dippers this year. This regularity and the distance to the bird near Federal makes me confident of two individuals. Bob Canter Denver, Colo.
