Hi Birders I found two American Dippers in Clear Creek, east of Lowell Blvd. (Adams Co) this afternoon at about 2:35 pm. The first sighting was just east of Lowell. I watched for a few minutes until it flew downstream. I walked down to the I-76 bridges, where a Dipper was below the bridge. When I was able look upstream from the bike path bridge, I could see both birds. Other birds seen between Lowell and Federal Blvd; Mallards, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, Red-tailed Hawk, Red-shafted Flicker, Belted Kingfisher, Black-capped Chickadee, Black-billed Magpie, Am. Crow, and Am. Robin. An American Kestrel was at Lowell Ponds SWA, on west side of Lowell. Bob Canter, Denver CO
