It was a slow start to the spring bird banding season at Chico Basin Ranch.  
After high winds on Monday and snow on Tuesday, the remainder of the week 
brought in few captures.  Conditions are very dry at the ranch.  Total banded 
for the week was 65. Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1Long-eared Owl - 4Say's Phoebe -
