Hey COBirders, The big migrant arrival continued today at Clear Spring Ranch. Yellow Warblers arrived early, and all through the morning - 24 banded. Also the first push seen by Empids and other vireos (besides White-eyed!). 65 birds banded today. Other Highights :
FOS Warbling Vireo, 4 imm FOS Plumbeous Vireo, ad 3 MacGillivrays Warbler males 1 Com Yellowthroat female banded 3 years ago FOS Western Tanager - banded m,f ad, but saw 5 more FOS Least Flycatcher, ad FOS Western Wood-Pewee, 2 ad Dusky Flycatcher, ad Virginia’s Warbler imm m, Northern Waterthrush - 2 more adults (8 for the season) 2 Green-tailed Towhee ad but only 3 other sparrows, Lincoln’s and Song A lot of fun and a lot of color today!
