We had two slower days this week at Roger's Grove Park, with warmer weather
forcing an early close on Tuesday and a bit of a lull in migrant activity
today. Highlights this week were our first empid, a Least Flycatcher, and a
Northern Flicker that was mostly 'Red-shafted' but showed some intergrade
traits including some red on the nape.
Here are the daily totals:

Tuesday (5/14/2019)

House Wren: 1
Common Yellowthroat: 1
Least Flycatcher: 1
Black-capped Chickadee: 1
'Myrtle' Yellow-rumped Warbler: 1
American Robin: 1

Thursday (5/16/2019)

House Wren: 2
Black-capped Chickadee: 1
Yellow Warbler: 1
American Robin: 2
Northern Flicker intergrade: 1

The Roger's Grove Park banding station is open only on TUES and THURS
during May, weather permitting. Next week we'll be opening nets around 6:00
and back at the station by 6:45. We'll close the nets by 11:00, though may
have birds to band until 11:15. We often have visiting groups at about
9:00, though all are welcome throughout the morning.

Come visit!
