Thank you all for the advise. I made an appointment for tomorrow with the vet.
I did ask the vet before but he said nothing was wrong. This is a new vet so
we will see what she says. I wil post what her advise is.

lot of us give ear wash at least once a week. Once they start to smell funny,
there is usually an infection starting. Licking of the paws can indicate
allergies, or it can just be habit. Take the dog to the vet, and ask their
opinion on how to help. It really is pathetic when they scratch and scratch at
their ears.

checked this happened to mine before and she had
almost like an infection in her ear. Because their
ears are floppy they tend to collect moisture and
such, my vet gave me an inexpensive ear wash fluid and
an ointment it worked wonders!! Hope all works
