I rescued a cockapoo from the local animal shelter about 1 1/2 years ago and he has the same problems with his ears. The vetrenarian prescribed MalOtic 2x daily until clear. He now receives a small amount 1x weekly. The meds are less than $10 and it seems to work great. When I have him groomed I have them cut the hair around his ears allowing air to flow inside.
