I'm trying to create a CGImageRef with CGImageCreate from a generated byte array (RGBA) but it doesn't seem to handle the transparency, so all the pixels are visible when some should not. As color space I'm using CGColorSpaceCreateDeviceRGB(), as CGColorRenderingIntent I'm using kCGRenderingIntentDefault and as bitmap info kCGBitmapByteOrderDefault, any idea if it is possible and what I'm doing wrong?
I think your bitmap info should include kCGImageAlphaLast, and be careful of the byte order. David Duncan gave a good explanation of those flags here:
