I think you as a commiter should be able to do it. The build targets are
dist-tgz and dist-zip. Prior to do the build you need to change the
build.xml file to reflect the correct version string (2.0b1).

The dists should be placed into /www/xml.apache.org/dist/cocoon on
daedalus. And make sure that it is group writable (chmod g+w
Cocoon-2.0b1.*). Thats all I think.
