Yes, you are a commiter and thus you have the priviledge to do that.
First you need to change the build.xml to reflect the correct version
string for the build (2.0b1) and commit it.
Next do a "build clean dist-zip dist-tgz".
Copy the dists into /www/xml.apache.org/dist/cocoon on deadalus and
change group permission to include write permission.
BTW: You can do that on daedalus and you'll save the transfers of the
dists over the net.
After that change the build.xml version string to 2.0b1-dev and commit
it.
