As stated.  I agree.  I think the doc list would also give developers an 
excuse to continue to ignore documentation issues.  IMHO, I think it 
should be kept in their face.  Anything without developer support will 
be inneffective.  Doing doc development on the doc list is very 
appropriate as it IS development.  Of course I'm in the minority in that 
I believe no feature is *complete* until its documented.
