Personally I'm +0 on a new list, I already subscribe to *far* too many,

If a seperate list *is* formed then it should be like the cvs one;
somebody subscribes to dev they get cvs *and* docs.  No question,
no argument because if they are developing they should see what
people are committing and they should (at least) see documentation
(adds/changes/deletes etc).

Just my opinion :)
