Stefano,

just mount a sub-sitemap for your app and make you editings on that (of
course, check-reload should be "yes").

By doung so you won't need to re-start Tomcat, the sub-sitemap is recompiled
whenever it is changed, while the "main" sitemap and cocoon.xconf need the
restarting of Tomcat for Cocoon to notice they have been changed.
