Unfortunately pygtk just means pain on OS X until a native gtk becomes
available. I'm really hanging out for a native Inkscape so I don't
have to deal with ctrl as a command modifier and extra-clicking to get
around the annoying X11 focus.

Note that tkinter is themed according to the platform at the moment.
The new theme stuff is used to make it *not* look like the platform.
I'm not sure what sort of look you're going for though.
