I'm having some difficulties with RectMapLayer that I'm certain must be caused by something I'm doing, but I can't for the life of me figure out what. Essentially, it looks like RectMapLayer's set_view() is rotated by default.
Here's the code I'm playing with: http://pastie.org/5053489 Here are some screenshots that demonstrate some weirdness: 1. http://imgur.com/fWZrf Note how it displays as 8 tall by 4 wide, but the map layer's width is showing up as 8 wide by 4 tall 2. http://imgur.com/kP94L Here, I change the width param to only show 10 pixels of width, and it changes the width with respect to the actual rectmap, but on the screen it changes the map's height. 3. http://imgur.com/nRQE1 Here, it appears that setting the view to -10,0 moves the layer to the right, but changes the x value of the layer to +10. I'm not sure quite what is going on here or how to fix my thinking about these things so that this behavior makes sense.
