I'm having some difficulties with RectMapLayer that I'm certain must be 
caused by something I'm doing, but I can't for the life of me figure out 
what. Essentially, it looks like RectMapLayer's set_view() is rotated by 
default.

Here are some screenshots that demonstrate some weirdness:

Note how it displays as 8 tall by 4 wide, but the map layer's width is 
showing up as 8 wide by 4 tall

Here, I change the width param to only show 10 pixels of width, and it 
changes the width with respect to the actual rectmap, but on the screen it 
changes the map's height.

Here, it appears that setting the view to -10,0 moves the layer to the 
right, but changes the x value of the layer to +10. 

I'm not sure quite what is going on here or how to fix my thinking about 
these things so that this behavior makes sense.
